I’ve read others saying that they have CS6 installed on APFS formatted volumes and it does work. I have it working on High Sierra but when I installed HS Beta, it did not format the SSD into APFS, it stayed as HFS+ and the CS6 apps do indeed work on HSBeta with HFS+. I guess we only have a few more days to see what the final situation will be moving forward. I’m crossing my fingers, holding my breath, etc.

I can't find this mentioned anywhere the last time I looked so I thought I'd mention it in a thread here (doesn't seem to be the same site the OP got sent to in Safari, but it does beg the question why it's behaving differently (and this isn't just once in a blue moon, but about every 4th update or so). A friend of mine has even worse luck and tells it to update, and it will just say, 'Update FAILED' and the ONLY way to fix it is to download it as a new install and start over. And then inevitably it will do the same thing again sooner or later.

I never opened the file nor gave it any information. I am just curious if I potentially still infected my computer considering it was downloaded or if the virus only works if the application is clicked and activated (which I did not do). Any thoughts and advice are appreciated, thanks. I was able to get rid of it without downloading any special software. I simply went to my Applications and trashed anything that was dated the day it appeared. They hide the name. I also completely cleaned my cache and downloads.
